Isn’t it painful
To see a grown man cry
Don’t be surprised
You might see him in a mirror
The thought of losing is dangerous
The shame of facing others a horror
Reality, it seems to you
Is life’s favorite torture
All you ever wanted was to die
Nothing in life was ever faithful
Loyalty in this world
It seems to you is never fruitful
The only time it acted true to you
Was when you wanted life to give up
Just let go on you
It was the moment of your life
And it screamed for betrayal
Your life is drifting
It is drifting from the shore
Defeat is so gripping
And that is for sure
You look for answers
But the questions
They have shut the door
Your memory is faltering
Your anchor broke
You mind is adrift
You missed your boat
And now you are stuck
Your ego is inflated
But can it keep you afloat
You miss her love
You miss her hate
Miss the mixed feelings
That you loved to hate
Life is an angel
Stuck somewhere in hell
Death is coming
And she rings the bell
You feel thankful
To whom? You don’t know
Once life was good
Now, you don’t know
You had all the answers
You knew the way
You slept through the night
And dreamt away the day
Deliverance seems near
Yet so far away
Isn’t it painful, to see a grown man cry

A sentiment or phase that everyone goes through at least once in his life.
One even accepts the harsh reality wen it comes to survival...but its THE lettin go that drowns us...
Just wen one starts thinkin in one particular direction (either the right or wrong) something happens-out of the blue, so unpexpectedly, that he has to revise his perception towards his approach of life.
I dont really know if i am conveying the message that i want to as ive always been pretty bad with words but i hope u get my point...cheers!
